What are the steps taken to concentrate the Mushroom Powders? If alcohol is used during the process, why is there no alcohol remaining?Updated a year ago
All our Mushrooms undergo a water extraction to release water-soluble polysaccharides, and then our Reishi and Chaga also undergo an alcohol extraction since they are denser in texture. The mushrooms then go through a vacuum concentration, which removes any alcohol, along with a water extraction which removes any water. The mushrooms are then spray-dried to create a water-soluble, alcohol-free powder.
